Portal was one of the best games that I have seen in a long time. The game was way different than anything most of us have ever played, which is the reason for it's success. The game had a brilliant idea that was perfectly executed and a mysterious storyline that left you wanting to know more about what the hell was going on. Throw in a hilarious computer that talks to you (GlaDOS) and it's the perfect recipe. Valve has plans for Portal 2, which will be released sometime in 2011 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC and Mac. Quickly speed up Mozilla Firefox
For those of you like myself using Mozilla Firefox, I recommend changing a few settings in the configuration file to speed up your browser. This will take you less than one minute. Open up Firefox and type "about:config" in the address bar (no quotes). Tell the browser you'll be careful and enter the settings page, watch out for dragons. In the filter bar, type "pipe" (no quotes). Set network.http.pipelining to true by double-clicking it. Change network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 8 by double-clicking it and changing the value.
